Inventory Management
|
Inventory management is built around managing stock and backorders. Inventory can be held at multiple warehouses and locations. The location types are: inventory, quarantine and consignment. Stock is reserved automatically against sales orders, (or by running the MRP program if installed), and includes child components. The reservation is flexible, and can be manually modifed at any time. For example you can cancel a stock reservation, and replace it with a purchase back order. You can manage stock using the two bin principle for minimum stock, or enter stock orders manually for adhoc requirements. The purchasing system includes features like multiple suppliers, being able to change the (approved) supplier at the point of order, the ability to modify purchasing requirements to get the best possible result, and customer back order reservation against bigger stock orders. view inventory status 'dashboard' screenshot
