Plant workcentres are used to process production orders which have been assigned process routes.  You can track production orders at a shopfloor level and manage workstation assignments.

Production orders are expanded into manufacturing routes by running the mrp program.

Finite loading is used to provide estimated completion dates for workcentre job loading. Finite loading data is constantly being rebuilt whenever a work centre job status is changed, and always reflects the current load. 

Operator loading occurs when an operator manually takes a job from the workcentre loading list and assigns a workstation. The planning data is reset with operator loading.
